Can You Restore A Vintage Hat?

     Of course you can restore a hat.  There is great value in restoring a vintage hat.  There are tips and tricks to restoring it yourself or you can take your hat to a hat store and many can restore your hat. 

     Use a hat brush to brush off any loose dirt.  It is a good idea to keep a hat brush around and brush your hat regularly.  A hat brush is a good tool to keep around.

     Use a hat sponge to clean the hat up.

     Use steam to re-shape the hat.  Press out any of the creases by massaging the hat with the steam.
